I’m really in a bad mood. As much as I’m trying and I really put a lot of effort into it, I’m not loosing weight!
I got a special 2 days menu from Julie that includes:
Morning: ½ a fruit
1 egg
2 crackers
Morning snack:
½ fruit
Lunch: 3 oz Chicken
½ fruit
Unlimited salad with 2 teaspoons of olive oil
Snack: ½ fruit
Dinner: 3 oz chicken
Unlimited steamed vegetable
2 crackers
Evening snack:
2 crackers
1 laughing cow low fat cheese
And I almost did not loose any weight. I will try it one more day and see what’s happening.

Shake it up!
Suddenly, after week three, the scale refuses to budge. I reached my plateau! For me, the plateauing effect is the biggest motivation-killer. I tried to look into some diet book, but found nothing. The one thing I know for sure is that I need to make a change! So I started thinking about a change on my physical activity routine. And than I found “Zumba”, Zumba is a fitness program inspired by Latin dance. Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is fun and easy to follow. Although I exercise 3 to 4 times a week, I have to admit that It’s the first time that I really have fun exercising. I already danced my weight off three times this week and each time I had fun, I actually enjoyed every minute. I ordered some Zumba DVD’s so I can practice at home. Hopefully I’ll see some change in my weight this Tuesday, but if not, at least I had real fun! I’m attaching the Zumba web site link so you all can see the miracle http://www.zumba.com/us/

The Chosen One!
Diets, I tried them all! From “Weight Watchers” to “Jenny Craig”, “NutriSystem”, “Dr. Alperin”, “HMR” and now at “Lite For Life”. Every time that I tried a new diet, I lost a lot of weight, BUT I always gain the weight back plus some few extra pounds.
So for me the main issue was maintenance.
So I looked for a weight lose program that will fore-fill my needs::
Food - One of the rules that I set was that I must have the knowledge of “How to make it happen?” by myself. In the past I used to choose diets that provides meal replacements, meaning I actually purchased a prepared food. It was great and easy to lose weight this way, but I could not keep the weight of once I started maintenance.
Flexibility and Convenience– I could not commit for a group session schedule since my job require traveling, so I looked for flexible program that offers drop-in basis schedule with one on one consultation.
Blood Sugar Stabilization- Since my triglycerides level was extremely high, I looked for program that will maintain insulin level and keep a stable sugar level
Balanced Health Nutrition
